Not only being a woman, I am a Black Woman and mother. So my key mission will always be geared to diversity, equity and inclusion . As well as ensuring that all birthing mothers/ families, are being advocated for as well as learning to advocate for themselves. I am driven to tailor every birthing experience to the birthing person’s needs . Making sure that they are at ease, heard, and loved through their pregnancy and afterwards. it is all in the name! The Doula Affect is the affect to your effect when it comes to having a doula in your birthing experience! We are here to see first birthdays and beyond. And I am here to be the extra support that makes sure we make it there, not only for the baby, but for the Mother/birthing person as well. Pregnancy, delivery , and postpartum are hard areas to navigate, and I am hopeful to be the best support I can to make every step of the way as easy as I can. So that the Affect of having a doula is a positive effect in your birthing journey and your new chapter of parenthood.
